Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large bowl, beat 1 cup of unsalted butter (softened) with 3/4 cup of granulated sugar and 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
