Prepare the Dough

Prepare the Filling

For the filling, mash approximately 75 grams of potatoes until smooth. To the mashed potatoes, add approximately 30 grams of cheese and 20 grams of finely chopped onions. Mix well to combine. This filling offers a rich and creamy texture that perfectly complements the tender dough.

Assemble the Dumplings

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness. Using a round cutter, cut out circles from the dough. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, and press the edges together to seal. Ensure the dumplings are securely sealed to prevent the filling from leaking out during cooking.

Cook the Dumplings

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Gently add the dumplings to the boiling water and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until they rise to the surface and are tender. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and drain well.
