🥗 Ingredients:

  • flour (100g)
  • sugar (50g)
  • butter (50g)
  • cinnamon (10g)
  • yeast (7g)
  • milk (100g)
  • egg (50g)

🍳 How to cook (12 servings):

Cooking Time: 25 minutesPreperation Time: 2 hours

1. Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg. Add the flour and yeast, stirring until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.

2. Prepare the Filling

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside the softened butter.

3. Assemble the Rolls

After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top. Starting from the long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

4. Second Rise

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a damp cloth, and let them rise again for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until puffy.

5. Bake the Rolls

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

6. Prepare the Cream Cheese Icing

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.

7. Ice the Rolls

Spread the cream cheese icing over the warm cinnamon rolls. Serve and enjoy.
