- chocolate (10g)
- sugar (7.5g)
- yeast (1.5g)
- salt (0.5g)
- milk or water (15g)
- egg wash (0.5g)

Prepare the dough
Combine flour, sugar, a pinch of salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Slowly add in water (or milk) and mix until a dough begins to form. Gently knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then cover and let it rise until doubled in size.
Incorporate butter
Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle. Evenly distribute thin slices of cold butter over the surface, then fold the dough over the butter in thirds. Refrigerate for an hour.
