  • churros (100g)
  • ice cream (100g)
  • sugar (20g)
  • cinnamon (5g)

Prepare the Dough

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat and stir in 1 cup of all-purpose flour until the mixture forms a ball.

Fry the Churros

Heat oil for frying in a deep saucepan to 375°F (190°C). Spoon the dough into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe strips of dough over the saucepan, and fry until golden, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Coat with Sugar

Mix 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a shallow dish. Roll the warm churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.

Serve with Ice Cream
