Dough Preparation

Begin by mixing 100-150 grams of flour with about 1 egg and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water to form a smooth, pliable dough. Knead well and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

Filling Creation

In a bowl, combine 100-150 grams of your choice of ground meat (beef, chicken, or pork) with finely chopped onion (20-30 grams), salt, and pepper to taste. Mix until everything is well incorporated.

Assembling Pelmeni

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thin sheet. Use a glass or a cutter to cut out small circles. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal. Optionally, you can bring the two corners together and pinch to make a more traditional Pelmeni shape.

Cooking Pelmeni
