Step 1: Gather Ingredients

You will need 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and approximately ¾ cup of warm water.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add olive oil. Gradually pour in the warm water, mixing with a fork until the dough begins to come together.

Step 3: Knead the Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. You may need to add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky.

Step 4: Rest the Dough

Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5: Roll Out the Dough

Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and then roll it out into a thin flat disc using a rolling pin.

Step 6: Cook the Flatbread

Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until they puff up and have browned spots.
