- egg whites (30g)
- granulated sugar (50g)
- cream of tartar (0.5g)
- vanilla extract (0.5g)

Preparation
Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Making Meringue
In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites on medium speed until frothy. Add cream of tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form. Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form, and the meringue looks glossy. Add a few drops of vanilla extract and gently fold it in.
Baking
Spoon or pipe the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meringues are dry and easily peel away from the parchment paper. Let cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
