- tomato sauce (80g)
- mozzarella cheese (100g)
- pepperoni (40g)
- mushrooms (30g)
🍳 How to cook (2 servings):
Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine 2 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast with 1 1/2 cups warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, until it becomes frothy. Add 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix until the dough comes together, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant. Add 1 can (15 ounces) of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assemble the Pizza
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 2 equal parts. Roll each part into a round shape on a floured surface, about 12 inches in diameter. Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread an even layer of the sauce over the dough, then sprinkle with 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese. Add your choice of toppings, such as pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.
Bake the Pizza
Bake the assembled pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy your homemade pizza!
