Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle a generous handful of shredded cheese over half of it.

Step 3

Add any additional fillings such as cooked chicken, sliced vegetables, or beans on top of the cheese.

Step 4

Fold the tortilla in half to cover the fillings.

Step 5

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 6

Remove from the skillet and cut into wedges.
