Buckwheat Preparation

Start by rinsing the buckwheat grains under cold water. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of buckwheat with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the grains are tender. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 more minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Meat Patty

Combine 500 grams of your chosen ground meat (beef, pork, chicken, or a mixture) with 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, and your choice of seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, and herbs). Mix well and form into patties. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked. Internal temperature should reach at least 160°F (71°C) for safety.

Vegetable Preparation

Wash and slice the cucumber and tomato into your desired thickness. For a refreshing touch, sprinkle with a light dressing of olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
