Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 slices of Swiss cheese - 4 slices of ham - 1 cup breadcrumbs - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 2 eggs, beaten - Salt and pepper to taste - 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Pound the chicken breasts to about 1/4-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin. 3. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. 4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. 5. Roll up each chicken breast and secure them with toothpicks. 6. Dredge each rolled chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs. 7. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. 8. Brown the chicken on all sides, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted. 10. Remove toothpicks before serving and enjoy!
