🍳 How to cook (12 servings):

Cooking Time: 25 minutesPreperation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour - 3 tablespoons sugar - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 package instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp) - 1/2 cup water - 1/4 cup milk - 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter - 1 large egg - 1/2 cup brown sugar - 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened - 1 cup powdered sugar - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 2-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. 2. Heat water, milk, and butter together until the butter melts and the mixture is warm (around 110-115°F). 3. Pour the warm mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and beat until the dough is soft and pulls away from the sides of the bowl. 4. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour, a little at a time, until the dough is firm but still slightly sticky. 5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes. Shape it into a ball and let it rest in a greased bowl for about 10 minutes. 6. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 15x9 inches. Spread the softened butter over the dough. 7. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough. 8. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the long edge. Trim the ends and cut the roll into 12 even pieces. 9. Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for about an hour, or until doubled in size. 10. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. 11. To make the icing, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 2-3 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls.
