🍳 How to cook (2 servings):

Cooking Time: 5 minutesPreperation Time: 10 minutes

Preparing the Potatoes

Begin by thoroughly washing and peeling approximately 150-200 grams of potatoes. Cut them into strips, ensuring a consistent size for even frying. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch, which contributes to achieving the crispy texture once fried.

Frying

Heat a substantial amount of vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a deep pan until it reaches a temperature of about 180°C (356°F). Remove the potato strips from the water, and pat them dry with a towel to remove any excess moisture. Carefully lower the potato strips into the hot oil, frying them in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry until they turn golden-brown and crispy, which usually takes about 3-5 minutes.

Seasoning

Once fried, transfer the French fries to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle approximately 0.5-1 gram of salt over the fries, adjusting the quantity according to taste. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
