Step 1

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Mix well.

Step 2

Add 3/4 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough begins to form.

Step 3

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll them into balls.

Step 5

Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.

Step 6

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown spots appear.

Step 7

Remove from heat and wrap the flatbreads in a clean towel to keep warm. Serve immediately.
