  • breadcrumbs (30g)
  • oil (20g)

🍳 How to cook (4 servings):

Cooking Time: 30 minutesPreperation Time: 20 minutes

Prepare Buckwheat

Measure 1 cup of buckwheat, rinse thoroughly under running water. In a medium pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the rinsed buckwheat. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the buckwheat is tender and the water is absorbed. Drain any excess water if necessary.

Make Patties

In a large bowl, combine 500g of ground meat (beef, chicken, or vegetarian alternative), 1 finely chopped onion, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 egg, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined. Form the mixture into small patties using your hands.

Fry Patties

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the patties to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels if necessary.

Serve

Serve the patties hot, accompanied by the cooked buckwheat. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
