🍳 How to cook (4 servings):

Cooking Time: 25 minutesPreperation Time: 10 minutes

Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2: Prepare Chestnuts

Rinse the chestnuts under cold water to remove any dirt. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a small 'X' on the flat side of each chestnut. This prevents them from bursting while roasting and makes them easier to peel.

Step 3: Roast Chestnuts

Place the chestnuts on a baking sheet, cut side up. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the shells peel back and the nuts are tender.

Step 4: Peel and Serve

Remove the chestnuts from the oven and cover them with a clean kitchen towel for about 10 minutes to keep them warm and make peeling easier. Peel the chestnuts when they are cool enough to handle and enjoy them warm.
