Prepare the Orzo

Cook 1 cup of orzo pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let cool.
