Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix 2 cups of flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add 1 cup of warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Cherry Filling

Pit and chop 2 cups of fresh cherries. Mix the cherries with 1/4 cup of sugar. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes to release the juices.

Assemble the Dumplings

Roll out the dough to a thin layer on a floured surface. Cut circles using a glass or a cutter. Place a small spoonful of the cherry mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over and press the edges to seal.

Cook the Dumplings
