- fried fish (300g)
- plantains (150g)
- rice and beans (200g)
🍳 How to cook (2 servings):
1. Prepare the fish
Season the fish with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the fish until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
2. Cook the plantains
Peel the plantains and slice them into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Heat oil in another frying pan over medium heat. Fry the plantain slices until golden brown and tender, about 2-3 minutes per side.
3. Cook the rice
Rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
4. Serve
