  • chicken or fish (125g)
  • buckwheat (125g)
  • cabbage or sauerkraut (75g)
  • oil or butter (10g)

Cooking Time: 30 minutesPreperation Time: 20 minutes

Prepare the Protein

Choose between chicken or a lean white fish. If using chicken, season with salt and pepper and grill until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C). If using fish, season and grill until easily flaked with a fork, about 3-5 minutes per side.

Cook the Grain

Rinse 100-150 grams of buckwheat or your chosen grain thoroughly in cold water. Bring a medium pot of water to boil, add the grains, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain any excess water.

Prepare the Vegetables

If using cabbage, slice thinly and saute in a small amount of oil or butter until tender. If using sauerkraut, simply warm it up in a pan to desired temperature.

Assemble the Dish

Combine the grilled protein, cooked grains, and sauteed or stewed vegetables on a plate. Season to taste with additional salt, pepper, or other seasonings of your choice.
