Cooking White Rice

Begin by rinsing 150-200 grams of white rice until the water runs clear. Bring water to a boil in a pot and add the rice. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is fluffy and cooked through. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Preparing Boiled Egg

Place one large egg (approximately 50 grams) in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan, and remove from heat. Let it stand for 9-12 minutes. Drain, cool in ice water, and peel.

Preparing Canned Tuna

Drain approximately 100 grams of canned tuna in oil. If preferred, lightly flake the tuna with a fork to break up any large pieces.
