This is a unique twist on traditional meatloaf. Instead of ground meat, we are using chicken liver, which provides a rich flavor and is packed with nutrients. This recipe is free of breadcrumbs and uses grated carrots in place of ketchup, making it a healthier alternative.

  • chicken liver (500g)
  • grated carrot (100g)
  • egg (50g)
  • onion (50g)

🍳 How to cook (4 servings):

Cooking Time: 45-60 minutesPreperation Time: 20 minutes

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Rinse the chicken livers and pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 3

In a food processor, pulse the chicken livers until they are finely chopped but not a smooth paste.

Step 4

Transfer the chopped chicken liver to a large mixing bowl.

Step 5

Add the grated carrots, along with any other seasonings or vegetables you desire (e.g., onions, garlic, herbs, etc.), and mix well.

Step 6

Place the mixture into a loaf pan, pressing down to ensure there are no air pockets.

Step 7

Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until the loaf is firm and the top is browned.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
