Prepare Rice

Choose Filling

Shape Onigiri

Wet your hands with water and sprinkle a pinch of salt. Place a portion of rice in your hand, make an indentation in the center, and add your filling. Mold the rice around the filling to form a triangular or cylindrical shape.

Wrap with Nori

Cut a strip of nori seaweed and wrap it around the base of your onigiri for easier handling and added flavor. Optionally, sprinkle black sesame seeds or seaweed flakes on top for extra taste.
