  • milk (240g)
  • egg (50g)
  • butter (30g)
  • baking powder (10g)
  • sugar (25g)
  • salt (1g)

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, mix 1 cup of milk, 1 large egg, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter should have some lumps.

Step 4

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.

Step 5

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
