Ingredients

- Pasta (Spaghetti or similar) - 100-150 grams - Tomato sauce (blend of tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, onions, herbs) - 150-200 grams - Ground meat (optional, for Bolognese) - 50-75 grams - Grated hard cheese (Parmesan or Pecorino) - 10-20 grams - Olive oil - 1-2 tablespoons - Salt - to taste - Spices and herbs (basil, oregano, pepper) - to taste

Preparation

1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain. 2. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions (and ground meat if making Bolognese) and cook until onions are translucent and meat is browned. 3. Add the garlic, then after a minute, pour in the tomato sauce. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs. 4. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve hot topped with grated cheese.
