- chicken breast (150g)
- broccoli (100g)
- bell pepper (100g)
- cheddar cheese (50g)
- eggs (60g)
- cream (30g)
🍳 How to cook (6 servings):
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large casserole dish with a bit of olive oil.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add chopped onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 4
Stir in chopped bell peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms. Cook until all the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 5
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle with flour and stir to combine. Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk, cooking and stirring until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 6
Season with salt, pepper, and dried herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
Step 7
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with a bit of melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
