π³ How to cook (1 serving):
Step 1: Prepare the Eggs
Take the desired number of eggs and place them gently in a saucepan. Cover the eggs with cold water until there is about 1 inch of water above them.
Step 2: Boil the Water
Place the saucepan on the stove and heat it over medium-high heat. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
Step 3: Cook the Eggs
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and cover the saucepan with a lid. Let the eggs sit in the hot water. For soft-boiled eggs, leave them for 4-6 minutes. For medium-boiled, leave them for 7-9 minutes. For hard-boiled, leave them for 10-12 minutes.
Step 4: Cool the Eggs
Once cooked to your preference, carefully drain the hot water. Run cold water over the eggs or place them in a bowl of ice water for a few minutes to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.
Step 5: Peel and Serve
Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then roll them softly to loosen the shell. Peel off the shell and serve immediately with salt, pepper, or any seasoning or dipping sauce of your choice.
