Avocado Toast

1. Toast two slices of whole grain bread to your desired level of crunchiness. 2. Halve an avocado, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Mash the avocado in a small bowl, optionally seasoning with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. 3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread slices.

Sautéed Vegetables and Sausage

1. Slice the sausage into round pieces. 2. Wash and prepare the vegetables - slice one medium carrot, half a medium tomato, and prepare 2-3 spears of asparagus. 3. In a pan over medium heat, sauté the sausage slices until they're browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside. 4. In the same pan, add the carrots first as they take longer to cook.
