Egg In A Hole With Hot Dogs, Tomatoes, And Cucumbers Recipe

Preparation of Ingredients

1. Wash the tomato and cucumber thoroughly. Slice the tomato into thin slices, and cut the cucumber into thin rounds. 2. Slice the hot dogs into thin rounds as well. 3. Using a round cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, make a hole in the center of each slice of bread.

Cooking Process

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil. 2. Place the bread slices in the skillet, breaking an egg into the hole of each slice. 3. Arrange hot dog slices around the bread in the skillet. 4. Cook until the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes per side. 5. Add tomato and cucumber slices to the skillet just long enough to warm them, about 1 minute. 6. Serve the cooked ingredients together, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
