🍳 How to cook (8 servings):
Prepare the Pie Crust
Begin by mixing flour, cold cubes of butter, and a dash of water until a dough forms. Carefully roll the dough out and place it in a pie dish. Chill in the refrigerator.
Create the Berry Filling
In a bowl, combine your choice of berries, sugar, and a thickening agent like cornstarch. Stir until the berries are well-coated, then pour into the chilled pie crust.
Make the Cheesecake or Custard Layer
Blend cream cheese with sugar, eggs, and optionally a bit of cream until smooth. Carefully pour this mixture over the berry layer in the pie dish.
Top with Crumble
For the crumble topping, mix flour, cold cubes of butter, and sugar. Crumble this mixture over the top of the cheesecake layer. Refrigerate until the crumble sets slightly.
Bake the Pie
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for around 45-55 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly. Allow the pie to cool before serving.
