Brew Espresso

Begin by brewing a single shot of espresso. If using a coffee machine, follow the manufacturer's instructions to achieve a rich and concentrated espresso. Around 30 ml of espresso is perfect for a standard-sized latte.

Steam and Froth Milk

While the espresso is brewing, steam the milk until it's hot and has a velvety texture. The ideal temperature for steamed milk in a latte is around 65-70°C (149-158°F). Once steamed, froth the milk to create a smooth, creamy foam.

Assemble the Latte

Pour the brewed espresso into a large cup. Gently pour the steamed milk over the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon to allow the milk to mix with the espresso first. Spoon a generous amount of foam on top of the drink to complete your latte.
