- cheese (50g)
- tomato sauce (30g)
- mushrooms (20g)
- chicken (20g)
- bacon (10g)
🍳 How to cook (3 servings):
Prepare the Dough
Combine 2 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast with 1 1/2 cups of warm water (110°F). Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy. Mix the yeast with 3 1/2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Knead the dough until it's smooth, then let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and if you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up. This step is crucial for a crispy crust.
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil, add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant. Add 1 can of crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of basil, salt, and pepper to taste. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
Shape the Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 2-3 pieces, depending on how large you want your pizzas. Roll out each piece on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Assemble the Pizza
Spread a generous amount of sauce over the rolled-out dough. Add your favorite toppings such as mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.
Bake the Pizza
Transfer the assembled pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Serve
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade pizza slice!
