🥗 Ingredients:
- buckwheat (100g)
- ground meat (50g)
- carrots (30g)
- onions (20g)
🍳 How to cook (4 servings):
Step 1: Prepare Ingredients
Gather 1 cup of buckwheat, 1/2 pound of ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken), 2 carrots (peeled and diced), 1 onion (chopped), 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 2 cups of water or broth, salt and pepper to taste, and a tablespoon of olive oil.
Step 2: Cook Buckwheat
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or broth to a boil. Add the buckwheat and a pinch of salt. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the buckwheat is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Set aside.
Step 3: Sauté Vegetables and Meat
While the buckwheat is cooking, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until they’re translucent and fragrant. Add the diced carrots and cook for another 5 minutes, or until they begin to soften.
Step 4: Cook Ground Meat
Push the vegetables to the sides of the skillet and add the ground meat to the center. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Combine and Serve
Add the cooked buckwheat to the skillet with the vegetables and meat. Stir everything together until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld, then remove from heat. Serve warm and enjoy!
