🥗 Ingredients:

  • flour (120g)
  • sugar (50g)
  • butter (50g)
  • cinnamon (10g)
  • yeast (5g)
  • milk (30g)
  • eggs (20g)
  • salt (2g)

🍳 How to cook (12 servings):

Cooking Time: 25 minutesPreperation Time: 2 hours

Prepare Dough

In a large bowl, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup of white sugar, 1 packet of active dry yeast, and 1 teaspoon of salt. In another bowl, heat 1 cup of milk until warm (not hot) and mix it with 1/2 cup of melted butter and 2 beaten eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

Prepare Filling

In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of brown sugar and 2 1/2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon. Melt 1/3 cup of butter separately.

Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the melted butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.

Form Rolls

Starting from one of the longer edges, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 even slices and place them in a greased baking pan, leaving a bit of space between each roll. Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for another 30 to 45 minutes until doubled in size.

Bake Rolls

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Prepare Glaze

While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing 1 cup of powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.

Glaze Rolls

Once the rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
