  • tomato sauce (100g)
  • ricotta cheese (50g)
  • mozzarella cheese (50g)
  • parmesan cheese (10g)

  • olive oil (0g)
  • sweet corn (50g)

Lasagna Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onions, and minced garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat. 3. Stir in tomato sauce, basil, oregano, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes. 4. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. 5. In a mixing bowl, blend ricotta cheese with an egg, adding salt and pepper to taste. 6. To assemble, spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Follow with a layer of noodles, ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers and top with grated parmesan cheese. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Let it cool before slicing.

Cooking the Sweet Corn

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. 2. Add the corn and cook for 4–5 minutes until tender. 3. Remove the corn, let it cool slightly, and then cut off the kernels from the cob or serve it whole with a bit of butter and salt.
