  • tomato, chopped (10g)
  • canned sardines (60g)
  • olive oil (5g)
  • vinegar or lemon juice (5g)
  • salt and pepper (0g)

Cooking the Rice

1. Rinse 150 grams of white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. 2. In a saucepan, bring the rinsed rice and 2 cups of water to a boil. 3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the water is absorbed and the rice is tender. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Preparing the Mixed Green Salad
