  • cocoa powder (20g)
  • cherries (30g)

Step 1: Prepare Ingredients

Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan. Pit and chop 1 cup of fresh cherries.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Step 3: Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of dark chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, beat 2 large eggs and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and continue to beat. Stir in the dry ingredients and fold in the chopped cherries.

Step 5: Bake the Brownies
