Add 3 ½ cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of sugar, ¾ teaspoon of salt, ½ cup of softened butter, 3 large eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 to 1 ½ hours, or until it has doubled in size. 5. For the topping, mix ⅔ cup of flour, ½ cup of sugar, and ½ cup of softened butter in a separate bowl until crumbly. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 6. Once risen, divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them well apart. 7.
