- flour (50g)
- salt (5g)
- pepper (2g)
- oil (50g)
- sauce (30g)
🍳 How to cook (4 servings):
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken wings - 1 cup of all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon of salt - 1 teaspoon of black pepper - 1 teaspoon of paprika - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder - Oil for frying (vegetable, canola, or peanut oil) - Optional: your favorite wing sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, etc.)
Prep the Chicken Wings
1. Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels. 2. Cut the wings at the joints to separate the drumettes and the wingettes, discarding the wing tips if desired.
Seasoning and Coating
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. 2. Toss the chicken wings in the flour mixture until they are well-coated. 3. Place the coated wings on a baking sheet and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes to help the coating adhere.
Frying the Wings
1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). 2. Fry the chicken wings in batches for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. 3. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried wings to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Optional: Adding Sauce
1. If using a sauce, place the fried wings in a large bowl. 2. Pour your favorite wing sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly. 3. Serve immediately.
