  • cottage cheese (200g)
  • all-purpose flour (50g)
  • egg (50g)
  • sugar (15g)
  • salt (0.5g)
  • butter or oil (10g)

Prep

Combine 200g of cottage cheese, 1 large egg, 15g of sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix well until smooth.

Form and Dust

Gradually add about 40g of flour to the cottage cheese mixture, stirring until the dough is thick enough to handle. Form the dough into small patties and lightly dust them with the remaining flour.

Fry

Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil. Fry the syrniki for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan.

Serve

Serve the syrniki warm with your choice of toppings such as sour cream, fruit jam, honey, or fresh berries.
